Vietnam is accelerating the construction of renewable energy projects

According to reports, the central province of Ninh Thuan, Vietnam is accelerating the construction of renewable energy projects to generate electricity as planned. Of the 16 wind power projects in the Master Plan for Power Development approved by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 12 have been licensed with a total capacity of over 748 MW and a total registered capital of over 22.5 trillion VND.
There are also 29 solar power projects in the master plan, of which 12 have a total capacity of 968 MW and a total registered capital of more than 27.8 trillion VND.
According to the plan, in the second phase of Dam Nai, more than 82MW of wind power at the factories in Mue Dinh and Trung Nam will be added to the national grid.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, three renewable energy projects and national transmission companies have reached power generation agreements. At the same time, 22 projects signed an agreement with Southern Power Company, and 11 other renewable energy projects signed a power purchase contract with Vietnam Power Company.
The chairman of the committee said that renewable energy development is one of the important breakthroughs in local social and economic development. The province prioritizes capable and experienced investors and is determined to develop renewable energy projects.
